Hey guys! I just realized I need to amend the recipe that I added down below for Zulu bread. If you were hoping to make it, please take notes of the additional info that I'll write down in red. Lots of love!
Sawubona! Welcome to my little site. I've been here in South Africa since Dec 08 and am now settling into a new way of life. I've become brave and courageous in a new country with a new people and a new language. Although at times its been hard, I'm all the better for it! This is my space where I record the adventures of this long awaited, much anticipated journey of life. I still can't wait to see what awaits around the corner because I serve a faithful God who is full of surprises and miracles. I have a big heart for the things of Isaiah 61 - to Preach Good News, to Bind up the Broken Hearted, to Proclaim Freedom for Captives and to Release Prisoners from Darkness and I long to be used more in these areas. I love people and enjoy meeting and experiencing new cultures and traditions. I am soon to be married into a Zulu family & am learning to love the things that are so different about this group of people here in KwaZulu Natal. I'm engaged to a wonderful Zulu guy, my best friend, Mthoko Shange. Hes got one of the biggest, most compasssionate hearts ever. We're going to be married this July & are excited about beginning this journey together and all that that means! Please pray for us and thanks so much for being apart of it all with us!
